Description
A Chippendale-style wingback armchair upholstered in oxblood leather, set on a carved hardwood frame with cabriole legs ending in ball-and-claw feet. Tagged "C.R. Laine," with brass nailhead trim along the arms and seat rail, carved acanthus and shell motifs at the knees, and scrolled exposed-wood arm fronts. C.R. Laine is a bench-crafted upholstery maker based in Hickory, North Carolina.
