Description
A framed Sri Lankan batik on cotton depicting two stylized blue orchids with green foliage on a neutral ground showing the characteristic wax-resist crackle veining. The verso bears a paper label reading "LANKA FRAMING WORKS / No. 113 Galle Road / Bambalapitiya," indicating the piece was framed in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Presented behind a black velvet mat in a gilt wood frame.
