Description
A pair of vintage Wilton cast iron footed trivets with openwork relief casting. One depicts a spread-winged eagle above a heart within a laurel wreath over a scrolled handle, the reverse stamped "T-13 EAGLE"; the other features a central footed urn issuing grape clusters and foliage flanked by paisley scrolls and a ribboned base. These types of trivets are often used both as functional kitchen tools to protect surfaces from heat and as decorative wall hangings. 8"L Good condition.
