Description
A metal sculpture of a California Quail, characterized by the distinctive forward-curving crest on its head. This specific piece is a heat-colored metal art sculpture, where a torch is used to create iridescent blues, purples, and bronzes on the steel's surface before it's finished with a clear coat to prevent rust. Crafted from mild steel or recycled metal. The vibrant, shifting colors are achieved through heat patination rather than paint, making each piece unique. It is welded to a flat metal base, allowing it to stand on any flat surface like a desk, shelf, or mantle. 8"H x 7"L Good condition.
