Description

A hand-painted porcelain bowl is a vintage piece typically identified as a double-handled nappy or vegetable serving bowl, produced during the early 20th century. The design features stylized floral motifs and geometric gold bands characteristic of the Art Deco or Arts and Crafts era. While often called a serving bowl, smaller versions (around 5–6 inches) are sometimes referred to as pin trays or "nappies" for individual servings or small items. It features twin gilt handles, a pale mint green border, and a gilt-edged rim. The interior is decorated with stylized floral and geometric motifs in green, lavender, ochre, and iron red; signed "L. H. Burke" and dated "4-22-26" on the underside. 6"W Good condition.
