Description The FG25N is the Mitsubishi-Caterpillar joint-venture 2.5-tonne (5,000-lb) Class IV/V industrial truck, built in Houston, Texas, on the shared Cat-Mitsubishi GP/FG25N pneumatic-chassis platform that ran from the early 2000s through the early 2010s. The model code reads top to bottom: F for IC engine; G for LP gas; 25 for 2.5-tonne nominal capacity; N for the Cat/Mitsubishi shared-platform generation. Power comes from the Mitsubishi 4G64 four-cylinder LPG engine driving a powershift transmission. This particular truck is configured with a three-stage full-free-lift (triplex) mast, an integral sideshifter on the carriage, three hydraulic spool levers at the operator's right hand (lift, tilt, sideshift), pneumatic tires (front 7.00×12 and rear 16.00×9 per the factory data plate), open ROPS with overhead guard and rear taillights, and the standard FG25N foot-pedal arrangement with inching/brake left of accelerator.
