Description
A traditional botanical art piece, characterized by its layered, architectural presentation and warm color palette. The central focus is a watercolor-style print of three calla lilies. They are rendered in soft shades of blue and white, with elongated green leaves. The flowers are set against a muted, abstract background with vertical washes of beige, lavender, and a deep burgundy accent on the left. The soft edges and blended tones give it a serene, classic botanical feel. The most striking feature is the complex, multi-layered matting and framing. The outer frame is a wide, ornate wood or poly frame with a metallic antique gold finish and a distinctive rope-twist texture along the inner and outer edges. A smaller gold frame (matching the outer one) creates a "window" directly around the artwork. A wide, dark charcoal or deep olive-grey mat fills the space between the two gold frames. This mat is divided into four quadrants by thin gold "fillets" (narrow decorative strips), giving it a custom, architectural look. This style of wall decor was particularly popular for traditional home interiors and is often sold by specialized home furnishing brands like Paragon. 38.5"H x 38.5"L Good condition.
