Description
A matched pair of decorative framed prints by Shadow Catchers depicting stylized female nudes in an Art Deco idiom, each titled with an Italian musical tempo marking — 'Amoroso' and 'Adagissimo.' Presented in matching wide black wood frames with cream mats under glass. The two prints form a companion set built around Italian musical directives: 'amoroso' is a directive to a musician to perform a selected passage of a composition in a loving manner, while 'adagissimo' indicates a very slow tempo (slower than adagio). Each image is rendered in a cool palette of blues, teals, and muted copper/ochre accents, with linear Art Deco-style female figures — one seated with hair flowing against a lunar disc, the other kneeling before a row of stylized cypress-like spires. The works are attributed to Shadow Catchers, a wall-décor manufacturer whose backing labels appear on both frames. 25"H x 22"L Good condition.
