Description
A matched pair of Bose 201 Series IV Direct/Reflecting bookshelf loudspeakers in black. Two-way design with a 6.5-inch woofer and an angled Stereo Targeting tweeter baffle intended for placement on shelves or stands. The Bose 201 Series IV is a passive two-way bookshelf loudspeaker produced by Bose Corporation as part of the long-running 201 Direct/Reflecting line. Each cabinet uses Bose's signature angled top baffle with a front-firing 6.5-inch woofer and an angled 2-inch tweeter to create the wider soundstage Bose marketed as Direct/Reflecting technology. The slot-ported bass-reflex enclosure is finished in black vinyl with a two-piece grey/black grille cloth and carries the silver Bose logo at the lower right of the front baffle. Rear panels feature spring-clip terminals and factory labels with model, serial, and compliance information; the visible copyright text dates this pair to the Series IV production run (circa 1996–2001). These speakers were designed to be driven by typical home stereo receivers and were commonly used as main stereo pairs or as surrounds in larger Bose home-theater configurations. 9.5"H x 6"W x 15"L Good condition.
