Description
A pair of antique Tibetan Dungchen ceremonial horns, also known as long trumpets or rag-dung. These are ritual instruments used by monks in Tibetan Buddhist monasteries for ceremonies, prayers, and offerings. They are crafted from copper and brass, featuring intricate engravings. These horns are designed to be telescoping, allowing them to collapse into shorter sections for transport and storage. They produce deep, resonant tones, often played in pairs to achieve a haunting sound. Extended measurements-30"H x 5.5"W x 5.5"L Collapsed 12.5" Please note: some loss of embellishments, small dents and tarnishing present.
