Description
A vintage ceramic pitcher that features the iconic "Autumn Leaf" pattern, produced by the Hall China Company for the Jewel Tea Company. Designed by Mary Dunbar, this mid-century modern piece is commonly known as a "Ball Pitcher" or "Tilt Jug" due to its distinctive rounded shape. Ivory or cream-colored ceramic body with gold-gilt trim around the rim and spout. Decorated with stylized floral and leaf motifs in autumnal shades of yellow, orange, and brown. It was produced in several sizes, including a standard 80-ounce water pitcher, a 2-quart version, and a smaller 4-inch "Baby Ball Jug". Includes a built-in ice lip at the spout to prevent ice from splashing while pouring. 7"H x 9"L Good condition.
