Description
A hand-painted porcelain vase with a landscape scene that is highly consistent with European art pottery styles, particularly those from Italy or Germany. The central image depicts a Mediterranean-style villa or countryside estate with red-tiled roofs and surrounding greenery. Similar pieces are often identified as mid-century Italian art pottery or West German pottery (such as Ulmer Keramik), which frequently used these hand-painted scenic motifs on white or cream ceramic backgrounds. It is presented on a traditional dark-stained carved wooden base, common for elevating and protecting high-quality porcelain and urn-style vases. 24"H x 9"W Good condition.
