Description
A fish-shaped pitcher or vase, often referred to as a "Gluggle Jug". These iconic items, originally created nearly 150 years ago in Staffordshire, England, are known for the unique "gluggle" or gurgling sound they make when liquid is poured from them. The jug is modeled after a fish (often identified as a cod or koi) with detailed fins and scales. While designed as a water jug or carafe, it is frequently used as a decorative centerpiece, flower vase, or utensil holder. 8"H Good condition.
