Description
An antique Art Deco jadeite floor lamp, a style characterized by its slender brass or metal column and a distinctive translucent green "jadeite" glass shade. Features a flared, fluted green glass shade, often referred to as jadeite or uranium glass if it exhibits a fluorescent glow under UV light. Made of brass-plated metal or iron with a tall, thin column. Includes a weighted, decorative metal base for stability, featuring ornate Art Deco motifs. These lamps are generally dated to the early to mid-20th century, specifically the 1920s through the 1940s. Companies such as the Mutual Sunset Lamp Company (MSLC) were well-known manufacturers of high-quality torchiere floor lamps during this period. 67"H Good condition.
