Description
A vintage Art Deco style "Sight Light", produced by the Sight Light Corporation (likely based in Greenwich, Connecticut) during the mid-20th century. The Sight Light Corporation was known for its "scientific" approach to lighting, often utilizing unique glass diffusers and heavy metal bases. This model features a classic frosted glass "flame" or "torch" shade, a hallmark of Art Deco styling popular in the 1930s and 1940s. The base is typically cast in bronze with a weighted, tiered circular pedestal. The lamp has been retrofitted with a modern RGB LED bulb. While the lamp's exterior is a period antique, the internal lighting has been updated for contemporary color-changing effects. 23"H Good condition.
