Description
An antique wooden magazine rack or stand, likely from the mid-20th century. The scalloped top gallery and scrolling side supports are characteristic of French Provincial or Rococo-inspired revival styles popular in the 1940s through the 1960s. The cut-out at the top is a functional handle, making it an "occasional" piece designed to be easily moved around a living space. The small floral motif on the front panel and the curvilinear, pierced base are typical of decorative storage stands from this era. Good condition.
