Description
A small, handmade ceramic bowl featuring naive-style illustrations of a rustic scene. The bowl has a tapered body with a wide opening and two small, integrated side handles. The exterior is decorated with a simplistic drawing of a house or cabin with a tall, narrow door and a gabled roof. Next to it, a reddish-brown, striped dog stands on a green, grass-covered hill. The base clay is a reddish-brown terracotta. The interior is glazed in a light blue at the rim and white below, with dark, brush-stroke accents. The piece reflects folk art or studio pottery traditions. 5.5"H x 9"W Good condition.
