Description
A vintage McCoy Pottery flower pot planter, specifically featuring the "Sand Dollar" (also sometimes referred to as Necco style) pattern. Made by Nelson McCoy Pottery Co. This design is commonly associated with the 1940s. The planter typically features an attached saucer and is decorated with an embossed pattern of large leaves and circles (the "sand dollars") against a vertically ribbed background. It is found in various shades of turquoise, aqua, or soft green. These pieces are frequently unmarked, but the design is a recognized McCoy classic found in collector reference books. 5.5"H x 6"W x 5.75"L Please note: some minor loss of exterior glaze.
