A vintage Art Nouveau decorative urn or bud vase manufactured by the Jennings Brothers (JB). Made of spelter (a zinc alloy) with a bronze or copper finish. It is stamped on the bottom with the "JB" hallmark and a production number, 1936 , which many collectors identify as the design number rather than the year of manufacture. Art Nouveau "Loving Cup" or amphora-style vase. Made by Jennings Brothers (Bridgeport, Connecticut). Two tall, curved handles, a fluted body, and ornate floral or garland detailing around the neck. These vases were often sold as pairs and are sought after by collectors of Art Nouveau metalwork. 8.5"H x 2"W Good condition.
