Description
A ceramic parrot bud vase, which is an iconic example of vintage Czechoslovakian pottery from the 1920s and 1930s. The bird bud vase is part of a famous production era (1918–1938) of hand-painted, multicolored ceramics. Most authentic pieces bear the "Made in Czechoslovakia" red dime stamp on the base. Often called a "spill vase" (for holding fireplace lighting tapers) or a "flower frog" with multiple holes for stems. 5"H Good condition.
