Description
A ceramic bell boy figurine by Sarsaparilla Deco Designs, a New York-based company known for producing art deco-style reproductions in the late 1970s and 1980s. While the original figure was an advertising display for Philip Morris cigarettes starting in the 1930s, this figurine—which functions as a business card holder or desk stand—is a 1981 reproduction by Sarsaparilla Deco Designs. Unlike the original tobacco-store displays meant for cigarettes and matches, this version was marketed as a decorative business card holder. 9.5"H x 4.25"W x 3"L Good condition.
