Description
A vintage S-K Wayne tap and die set. It includes an adjustable T-handle tap wrench with associated taps from different brands. The set comes in a metal storage box and includes several industrial cutting tools known as taps, specifically used for creating threads inside holes in metal or piping. Two included taps are from Bay State and Morse. One tap is marked "3/4 NPT" (National Pipe Taper), used for pipe threads. Another tap is marked "7/8 N.C." (National Coarse), used for machine screws. These tools are used in machining or plumbing to create tight, threaded seals for fasteners or pipes. 2"H x 4"W x 17"L Good condition.
