Description
A vintage ceramic set of Dutch boy and girl (also referred to as Jack and Jill) salt and pepper shakers, produced by Shawnee Pottery in the 1940s. Crafted from glazed pottery. Characterized by traditional Dutch attire, including the boy's wide trousers and the girl's bonnet and apron. These items were manufactured by Shawnee Pottery under the Essex China line, as indicated by the original foil label found on the underneath. The shakers stand approximately 5 inches tall and are designed with a "tubby" appearance, wearing traditional Dutch garb with blue and brown painted accents. Good condition.
