Description
A vintage Dunhaven quartz Anniversary Clock, also known as a 400-day or torsion pendulum clock. This specific model features a rotating sphere pendulum, a decorative moon phase dial, and a glass dome. It has a quartz battery-powered movement, which is a modern take on the traditional mechanical torsion clocks that only needed winding once a year. The small window on the clock face displays a lunar cycle, a common aesthetic addition to German anniversary clocks. It has a torsion pendulum, meaning the four rotating balls at the bottom rotate back and forth horizontally rather than swinging side-to-side. Height 11 1/2” Good condition.
