Description
An antique American Brilliant Period cut glass relish dish. Features intricate, hand-cut geometric patterns (such as hobstars, starbursts, and diamonds) and a distinctive sawtooth or serrated edge. The "Brilliant Period" of American cut glass generally spans from 1876 to approximately 1917, a time when American glassmakers gained international recognition for their high-quality, heavy, lead-rich crystal and elaborate craftsmanship.
