Description
A vintage glass samovar (or tea/beverage urn) set, complete with six matching footed cups. Samovars of this style, featuring colored or opalescent glass bodies paired with silver-plated or metal fittings, were popular in the early to mid-20th century. Features "satin" or frosted glass in pale blue. The geometric, trophy-like shape and the stylized, sweeping handles are characteristic of the Art Deco period (1920s–1930s). The urn has a large, blue frosted glass body with two oversized metal handles and a dispensing spout at the base, and comes with a set of six matching footed glass cups, intended for serving tea or punch. Urn measures 11 inches by 6 inches by 14 inches, cups measure 3 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches tall. Good condition.
