Description
A pair of unique wine glasses by Baker Art Foundry. They are part of their "Designs of the Vine" fantasy line. The stems were cast by Baker Art Foundry, a custom pewter facility established in 1969 by Gerry Baker. The foundry specializes in high-complexity molds developed by master mold maker and artist George Kysor. These goblets feature lead-free pewter stems with a satin finish. The glass bowls are crafted from high-quality Bohemian crystal. This specific "Warrior" design is part of a broader fantasy collection that includes figures like King Neptune, Excalibur, dragons, mermaids, and mythological figures like Adonis and Athena. The foundry was originally located in Oakland, California, before moving to its current location in Placerville, California. Note on repair: If a glass bowl ever breaks, Baker Art Foundry offers a repair service where you can send the stem back to have the crystal replaced for a minimal charge. Height 8 1/2” Good condition.
