Description
Vintage heavy cast aluminum mechanical assembly of unknown specific purpose. Features a curved upright arm mounted on an oval base with a rubber drive belt around the perimeter. Rear of unit exposes an eccentric disc/flywheel with a connecting rod mechanism, consistent with a reciprocating drive (e.g., needle or stitching motion). Two brass thumb-screw adjusters on the front and side. Leather or cork pad on underside of base. May be a head assembly from a vintage industrial sewing or stitching machine; provenance and completeness unknown. Sold as-is. Buyer responsible for removal.
