Description
Artisan-crafted botanical seed necklace strung with Mucuna species (hamburger bean/sea bean) seeds, Job's Tears (Coix lacryma-jobi), and glossy red seeds consistent with Adenanthera pavonina or Ormosia species. The necklace features a silver-toned barrel clasp with no maker's marks or hallmarks, and is strung on a thin cord in a style characteristic of Caribbean or Latin American tropical souvenir jewelry. Contemporary production, late 20th to 21st century.
