Description
A set of amethyst or black glass items, including a central bowl and two matching smaller pieces that are candle holders or small dishes. The pieces feature a distinctive "ruffled" or "handkerchief" design, which is a style often found in mid-century modern (MCM) glassware. This particular deep purple color is frequently referred to in vintage markets as black amethyst glass because it appears black until held up to the light, which reveals its true purple hue. Large bowl: 8 1/2" Dia; Flower: 3" Dia Good condition.
