Description
Original World War II–era Japanese Government occupation peso notes, issued during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines (1942–1945). This lot includes denominations of 1 peso, 5 pesos, and 10 pesos, all clearly marked “The Japanese Government.” These notes are historically known as Japanese Invasion Money (JIM) and were circulated throughout the Philippines during WWII. They are widely collected for their wartime significance and distinctive designs.
