Description
A vintage Holmes & Edwards inlaid silverplate eighty-two piece flatware set, often referred to as "DeepSilver". This specific brand, part of International Silver, is known for featuring blocks of sterling silver inlaid at the primary wear points (the back of the bowl and handle) to prevent the plating from wearing through. This set is stored in a tarnish-resistant, velvet-lined wooden chest. A standard set includes dinner knives, dinner forks, salad forks, teaspoons, and soup spoons. Box label reads "Holmes & Edwards Inlaid". 18 1/2" L x 11" W x 4" H Good condition.
