Description
A vintage Chinese Chippendale style mahogany vitrine manufactured by the Weiman Furniture Company. Weiman, an American company founded in the 1930s (with a major factory expansion in 1941), was renowned for its high-quality "Heirloom" collection. While they originally specialized in solid wood and traditional revival styles, they were most famous for their handcrafted Chippendale and Regency reproductions during the mid-20th century. It is a "Chinese Chippendale" revival piece, defined by the fretwork (lattice) detailing and the pagoda-shaped crest at the top. Includes glass shelving and a mirrored back to enhance display. 35.5" L x 13" W x 64.5" H Good condition.
