Description
An antique chaise longue (also commonly referred to as a fainting couch or récamier), in a French style such as Louis XV or Louis XVI. It features an asymmetrical, elongated design with a curved back and a scrolled end, characteristic of Victorian and French Empire or Regency styles. Solid wood frame, such as walnut, cherry, or beech, and stands on carved cabriole legs. Upholstered in a floral patterned fabric, similar to a toile or jacquard damask. 58" L x 28" W x 27" H Good condition.
