Description
Neoclassical-style round center/game table by AA Importing, designed with refined French Louis XVI and Empire influences. Crafted from wood with a rich mottled brown finish, the table features detailed marquetry and inlay work across the top and apron, highlighted by hand-painted decorative accents and classical motifs. The circular top includes a reversible center panel: one side reveals a chessboard surface, while removal of the panel exposes a backgammon playing field beneath, making the piece both decorative and functional. Supported by four tapering, fluted legs with carved acanthus detailing and decorative metal mounts, the table is joined by an elegant X-form stretcher base that enhances stability and visual balance. 33" diameter × 30" height. Good condition.
