Description
Vintage clear crystal gazelle bookend produced by Steuben Glass and attributed to designer Sidney Waugh. The sculptural form depicts a stylized gazelle in a leaping pose above curling wave motifs, executed in transparent crystal consistent with Steuben’s mid-20th-century production. This model is referenced as figure no. 130, page 96, in the Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass reference literature. Signed on the bottom. Measures approximately 6 1/2 inches in height by 7 inches in length. Condition reported as good.
