Description
Vintage La Barge–style wall mirror featuring a highly ornate Rococo-inspired carved wood frame with pronounced scrolling acanthus leaves, floral elements, and shell motifs throughout. The substantial frame is finished in an antique gilt tone, emphasizing depth and relief in the carving. Constructed of carved wood and fitted with beveled mirror glass. Marked Made in Italy. Consistent with mid-to-late 20th century production associated with La Barge imports. Overall measurements: approximately 36 inches wide by 58 inches high. Condition: Good vintage condition with typical surface wear, minor finish loss, and age-appropriate imperfections to frame and finish. Mirror glass remains intact.
