Description
This vintage Arita ware platter, signed by the artist, is a porcelain piece originating from Arita in Saga Prefecture, Japan—historically associated with Imari ware exported through Imari Port. The platter features a raised, three-dimensional iris floral motif at its center, surrounded by a softly textured surface and a glaze that transitions from deep cobalt blue at the rim to a pale cream-white toward the middle. Measuring approximately 13.5 inches wide, the footed platter is in good condition.
