Description
This vintage-style serving tray features a rustic carved wooden frame in a warm light-brown tone, complete with integrated handle cut-outs at each end. The center is inset with a grid of square ceramic tiles, each finished in a vivid cobalt-blue ground and decorated with colorful hand-painted illustrations of animals and insects, including a toucan, lizard, crab, frog, and beetle. The lively imagery and bold palette evoke the character of Mexican folk art or Portuguese decorative tilework commonly seen in pieces from the 1970s. Measuring approximately 20 inches in length, the tray shows light surface wear and a natural patina to the wood consistent with age, while remaining in overall good vintage condition.
