Description
This handcrafted Talavera ceramic pot features a traditional tin-glazed earthenware body with a creamy white base and a vibrant, hand-painted multicolor design rendered in classic mineral pigments of cobalt blue, yellow, green, orange, black, and mauve. The intricate floral and geometric motifs reflect the historic blend of Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and indigenous Mexican artistic influences characteristic of authentic Talavera pottery, while the glossy glaze and slightly raised painted detailing result from a second high-temperature firing. It is marked model TM-2025C. Measuring approximately 5 3/8 inches high and presented in good condition.
