Description
Vintage Ceramiche Alfa candy or nut dish made in Italy, crafted in earthenware/majolica and stamped on the underside. This mid-century piece is formed in an acorn-inspired shape accented with a molded grape motif, reflecting the Tuscan tradition of blending rustic natural themes with functional tableware. Ceramiche Alfa, based in Sesto Fiorentino and active since the post-World War II period, is known for hand-finished ceramics ranging from serving ware to decorative household pieces. The dish measures approximately 7½ inches wide and remains in good vintage condition, displaying light surface wear consistent with age and use.
