Description
This lot features five vintage, heavy-duty straight pipe wrenches—commonly called Stillson or plumber’s wrenches—designed for gripping and turning threaded pipes and fittings. The collection includes examples from well-known makers such as Ridgid, NYE Tool Company, and a Genuine Stillson wrench. Each wrench is constructed from durable forged steel with adjustable toothed jaws that tighten securely under pressure, a hallmark of classic pipe-wrench engineering. The wrenches show typical signs of age and use, including surface rust, paint wear, and general patina consistent with long-term workshop service, while the jaws remain structurally intact. Sizes range from approximately 10 inches to 24 inches in length; the smallest 10-inch wrench is missing its adjustment nut. Overall condition is good.
