Description
Set of three vintage stacking trays designed by Kenneth Brozen for COPCO, a noted example of mid-century modern American housewares. Molded in bright yellow plastic with clean geometric lines, these trays are stamped on the underside: “COPCO, BROZEN DESIGN 620 U.S.A.” The design reflects Brozen’s characteristic use of bold color and functional form, hallmarks of 1960s modernist design; works by Brozen are represented in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Each tray measures approximately 13 1/2 in. L x 20 in. W x 2 in. H; total height when stacked is approximately 6 in. Condition is good overall with light surface wear consistent with age and use; the bottom tray has a small chip to one corner.
