Description
Vintage Towle silverplated trivet in the discontinued Pattern 4001, featuring an intricate pierced openwork design with detailed floral and scrolling motifs arranged in a symmetrical medallion-style layout. The trivet has a round, slightly scalloped form and is elevated on small feet, allowing air circulation beneath hot dishes while adding visual interest. Crafted in silverplate over base metal, the surface shows a soft, natural patina and light wear consistent with age, enhancing its vintage character. Stamped on the bottom. Measures approximately 8 inches wide. In good vintage condition with minor discoloration consistent with age and use.
