Description
A Scanpan Classic covered chef's pan or a stew pot, also known as a Dutch oven in a round shape. It is part of the extensive Classic nonstick line of cookware. It is hand-cast in aluminum from 100% recycled material, which provides quick and even heat distribution without hot spots. The interior features Scanpan's patented Stratanium nonstick coating, which is safe for use with metal utensils and allows for browning and searing not typically possible with traditional nonstick pans. The pan has oven-safe, ergonomic Bakelite handles and comes with a tempered glass lid with a heat-resistant knob, allowing you to monitor cooking without lifting the lid. This particular "Classic" line is generally compatible with gas and electric stovetops but is not suitable for induction cooktops. The deep shape and wide surface make it ideal for a range of cooking methods, including sautéing, braising, stewing, and even baking bread. 13" W; 17.5" W (including handles); 6" H Good condition.
