Description
An antique table lamp with an ornate metal base featuring relief figures. This type of lamp is often referred to as a figural lamp, and the style of the relief work is classical or Victorian. The lamp features a cylindrical base with detailed, low-relief sculptures of people or figures, which is a common characteristic of vintage figural or classical-style lamps. The base is made of metal (such as bronze or brass) with a silver-toned finish, or possibly painted cast resin. It is fitted with a simple, light-colored empire or tapered drum fabric shade. Similar ornate metal lamps can be found in vintage and antique markets, dating anywhere from the late 19th to mid-20th century. 32" H Good condition.
