Description
This work is a signed and numbered lithograph by French artist Franz Herbelot, depicting the iconic Place de la Concorde in Paris. The composition features one of the square’s monumental fountains in the foreground and the Luxor Obelisk rising prominently in the background, with animated figures enlivening the scene. Rendered in a refined, atmospheric palette, the work reflects Herbelot’s characteristic mid-20th-century Parisian cityscape style. The print is signed “Herbelot” in pencil at the lower right and numbered 5/381, indicating a limited edition. Presented in a wood frame with glazing and mat, the work measures approximately 15 inches by 17 inches overall. Condition is good, with age-appropriate wear consistent with period and framing.
