A Peterboro Traditional Knitting Basket. The Peterboro Basket Company claims to be the only manufacturer of this specific "one-of-a-kind" design featuring hand-cut wooden feet and a wooden lid. The baskets are handcrafted in the USA from hardwood Appalachian Ash. The basket features a woven body, a flat wooden hinged lid, a single swinging handle, and four solid wooden feet for stability.
