Description
A Brooks B17 Special leather bicycle saddle. This model is identified by the distinctive, larger, hand-hammered copper rivets securing the leather to the frame, a feature that differentiates it from the standard B17 model which uses smaller, machine-set steel rivets. It is made from durable, 5mm thick, vegetable-tanned leather which is designed to mold to the rider's shape over time for lasting comfort. The B17 is best suited for an angled riding position, typically where the handlebars are around the same height or slightly lower than the saddle. The "Special" designation includes copper-plated steel rails and hand-skived (chamfered) lower flaps for a premium finish. It also features loops for attaching traditional touring bags. 1/2" x 7" New in original packaging.
