Description
A replica of St. Michael the Archangel Defeating Lucifer, produced by the Italian company founded by sculptor A. Santini. The original sculpture on which this design is based is a painting by the Italian artist Guido Reni from the 17th century. Amilcare Santini (1910–1975) was an Italian sculptor from Florence who developed a process of mixing marble, alabaster, and resin to mass-produce detailed sculptures that closely resembled original hand-carved stone pieces.
